How to use this site
A practical Corfu guide, not a brochure
Every fare on this site has a named operator and a check date. Blue-bus Zone A is €1.30; the day pass is €5; CFU Line 15 is the same Zone A ticket; a daytime airport taxi is about €15 (astikoktelkerkyras.gr / cfu-airport.gr, August 2026). Old Fortress is €10. Achilleion gardens are €7 while the palace interior stays closed for restoration. We do not invent restaurants, and we do not copy tourism-board adjectives.
If you have two days, stay in or next to the UNESCO Old Town, walk the fortress and Liston, and spend the second day on Kanoni plus Achilleion. If you have four, add Paleokastritsa on green bus A9 (€2.50, 45 minutes). Easter is the cultural peak — Holy Saturday Botides at 11:00 — and the worst week to see if a room appears. May–June and September–October are the swimming months with fewer peak crowds.

A day pass on blue buses is €5 if you stack Kanoni (Zone A) and Achilleion (Zone B €1.80). Buy at a kiosk, not on board. Last green coaches are early evening — photograph the board. Emergency 112; tourist police 1571; hospital is the General Hospital of Corfu.
