Ко пише Pontikonisi
Visit Corfu is an independent English-language city guide for people who land at CFU and need the next 72 hours to work. We write for walkers in the UNESCO core first, then for the bus to Paleokastritsa. We are not the municipality, not a hotel, and not a copy of a tourism brochure.
The site exists because generic round-ups skip the numbers that actually decide a day: which bus, which ticket window, which closing time. Unesco old town, venetian fortresses, achilleion gardens, ionian beaches and easter botides are the reasons people come; the fares and hours are why they need a guide that can be checked.

City facts — names, fares, phones, coordinates — live in one config file and are copied into pages. If a number cannot be sourced, we write “check locally” instead of guessing. Blue-bus fares come from Astiko KTEL Kerkyras; green coaches from KTEL Kerkyras; CFU taxis from cfu-airport.gr; fortress tickets from odysseus.culture.gr; Achilleion from achillion-corfu.gr. We do not invent restaurant or hotel names. We describe areas, dishes and price bands. When a page says “checked August 2026”, that is the last pass against the official page, not a promise the operator will never change a timetable.
